BTW we use generative ai to research, compose, and design this newsletter. We wonder if you will be able to tell where humans have been versus where ai has been. Or is there a human even in charge and present?

Let's kick this off, shall we?

Hey ChatGPT, let’s talk generative ai versus traditional ai. Please provide an example from pop culture over the last 40 years of generative ai and traditional ai.

Today’s tool is Case Study Writer.

Its tagline is “Create Engaging Case Studies in Minutes, Not Months”

What it does? Generates professional case studies at lightning speed using a proven storytelling framework and ChatGPT technology.

Who is it for? Built for B2B Product Marketers.

Here is my <5min video of me walking you through it.

Practice of law use case:

Use Case Study Writer to create engaging content to share with prospective clients. This automates the process of organizing and writing a case study on a specific client outcome.

Business of law/legal operations use case:

Use Case Study Writer to demonstrate the value of your team to internal stakeholders. By crafting a case study based on one of your projects, you will have a simple and concise story on how your team interacted and benefitted another team inside your organization.

Pro tips:

1. Get at least two key outcomes with some form of measurement. This tool really likes to highlight numbers, so get specific and creative (but honest) with these. Some examples: decisions made, time to make decisions, number of new insights gained, process improvement metrics, cost savings, risks mitigated, and new relationships/connections made.

2. Get truly specific on your secret sauce or unique skills. This tool will highlight it and if you are too general (“we have the best lawyers”) it will dilute the overall value of the case study. So dig deep to articulate why your team and your efforts were uniquely qualified to take this on.

Moving onto Today's Prompt for you to try out:

You can use this with ChatGPT or any other generative AI chat tool.

This prompt is meant to help you broaden your thinking on unique value propositions or differentiations you might be overlooking in your services.

Here is the template prompt:

Using Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs, create a business plan outline that speaks to the [current need] of [ideal customer persona]. Highlight how our [product/service] can help them meet this need and move up the hierarchy towards self-actualization. Use language that resonates with their current stage in the hierarchy and addresses their specific needs and goals.

Here is how I edited it for employee handbooks and a firm’s employment practice:

Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs outlines the basic human needs that must be met in order to achieve self-actualization. As an employment lawyer and handbook design team, we can help HR and legal leaders in high-growth cannabis meet their need for fresh, legally compliant, and engaging employee handbooks, and move up the hierarchy towards self-actualization.

The results are too long to put in this newsletter and you should be experimenting yourself anyway. So go have some fun and play with this prompt with different client needs, practice groups, and specific legal problems.

News you can use:

News you can lose:

Beware, ChatGPT is not a real advisor. It mimics what some advisors would say. Do not take its answers as truth.

That's a wrap for today. Stay thirsty & see ya next time! If you want more, be sure to follow me on Twitter and LinkedIn.
