194 | 😍 🫦 ChatGPT wants to make you horny?!

Brainyacts #194

It’s Friday. Kudos to Troutman Pepper as they are hosting a first-of-its-kind Generative AI Summit for Law Firms on May 14th. This is the type of leadership we need more of in BigLaw. We are one of the few markets that don’t have subject-matter peer-based learning. I’m not talking about the trade association events like ILTA, ACC, and others. I am talking about the actual players creating a forum for real exchange and dialogue. I hope this event is authentic, no BS -zero platitudes, and advances attendees’ pragmatic intelligence and skill.

Let’s get to it.

In today’s Brainyacts:

  1. AI buddies date each other so we don’t have to

  2. ChatGPT “REPLY” mini-feature

  3. OpenAI’s Google Search competitor coming? and other AI model news

  4. Are you part of shadow AI and other AI-related content

🤺😍 AI Trend: Apps for matchmaking, platonic friendships, managing motions, and getting horny

Whitney Wolfe Herd, the founder of Bumble, has proposed that the future of dating could lie in the hands of artificial intelligence. According to her, AI agents could act as "dating concierges," interacting with each other to assess compatibility and recommend potential matches, saving users time and effort.

This unique approach has sparked a lively debate, with some welcoming the idea as a time-saving solution for finding quality connections, while others question the authenticity and effectiveness of such a system. As the world of dating continues to evolve, the role of AI in our romantic lives remains a topic of fascination and speculation.

I thought I would share a sampling of the spectrum of AI apps related to relationships - fake or real.

Dating? As I shared above, why not have your AI self message their AI self first to see if the real you should even bother with the real them? Huh? Well, it sorta makes sense. Here is more on Bumble’s AI-dating concierges that will message each other on a human’s behalf.

👩‍💻🔍 ChatGPT releases mini-feature: REPLY

You can select a portion of text in one of its responses. This will bring up a double quote bubble.

When clicked, it will add that as a part of your next prompt/input, and you can ask more questions on top of that.

This is a productivity feature for power users who know that unlocking the power of ChatGPT comes from asking it to elaborate, refine, or stress-test certain parts of its replies. BTW this is one of the least utilized best practices in conversational AI.

Here is what the REPLY feature looks like:
