🛡️🧑‍💻 AI Agents Are Here

NOT AN ADVERTISEMENT

I want to show you the following only to demonstrate how an AI Agent works and to illustrate how AI integration is proceeding. This is about AI seeping into the everyday tools and tasks rather than big enterprise solutions.

WARNING! For these to work and do multi-step tasks autonomously, we have to give them complete access to our data and tools. For instance, I was checking out a similar tool yesterday. In reviewing the Terms and Permissions I was asked to give the tool complete access to my Google Drive. This means the tool (and the company behind it) could view, edit, delete, and share any files in Google Drive. No thanks!

Now as these mature, no doubt we will have the capability to guard against this type of broad control but right now - not so much. Regardless, these agents are getting better and better.

This is MultiOn.ai. It is a Chrome extension. And it can automatically order you a burger or set a meeting simply by asking it to. Watch these two videos.
