Does ChatGPT Have a Sense of Humor?

When asked to tell a joke, this is the one ChatGPT is most likely to respond with:

Recent research into how ChatGPT '“understands” humor through jokes has uncovered the jokes it tends to repeat most often. This can illustrate how LLMs learn and what the implications are for limited training model data in certain areas or reinforcement behavior that gets baked into the model over time due to repeated similar prompts, like “tell me a joke.”
